Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is set to enter its next arc, “Dantouzai no Aura” (Aura the Guillotine), which will see Frieren and her party encountering a quartet of demons.
Those demons are Aura (Ayana Taketatsu), Lügner (Junichi Suwabe), Linie (Manaka Iwami), and Draht (Kouki Oosuzu). See Frieren, Fern, and Stark facing off against the horned newcomers in the moody new key visual:
The “Aura the Guillotine Arc” will begin next week with the anime’s seventh episode.
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End premiered on September 29 with its first four episodes. The two-cour fantasy anime, which is being streamed by Crunchyroll, Muse Asia, and Bilibili, is based on the Shogakukan-published manga written by Kanehito Yamada and drawn by Tsukasa Abe, which was the grand prize winner of Manga Taisho 2021.

Decades after their victory, the funeral of one her friends confronts Frieren with her own near immortality. Frieren sets out to fulfill the last wishes of her comrades and finds herself beginning a new adventure…
The Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End manga began serialization in Weekly Shonen Sunday in 2020 and has 11 tankoubon volumes published under the Shonen Sunday Comics label as of September 2023.
