Mushoku no Eiyuu Light Novel Series Receives TV Anime Adaptation featured image

Comic Earth Star has announced that the fantasy comedy light novel series Mushoku no Eiyuu: Betsu ni Skill Nanka Iranakattan da ga is receiving a TV anime adaptation. Additional information about the production has not yet been revealed.  

A 44-second announcement trailer confirming the adaptation was also released. 

The series is written by Shichio Kuzu, with illustrations from artist Yumehito Ueda. It began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou on November 15, 2017. Publisher Earth Star Entertainment then formally published the light novel series on July 14, 2018 under its Earth Star Novel label. Four volumes have been released as of June 2019. 

A manga adaptation by Akio Nanae was launched in Comic Earth Star magazine on November 10, 2018. Six tankoubon volumes have been released as of May 2023, with a seventh volume due out on October 12, 2023. 

Mushoku no Eiyuu follows a young man named Arel —  the son of “Sword Princess” Fara and “Magic King” Leon. Despite his prodigious lineage, Arel has been branded as “Classless” and has no specific job or skills to his name. However, Arel believes he can persevere through sheer effort.
