Netflix has released a second official PV trailer for the upcoming Good Night World anime series, which is scheduled to stream on the platform on October 12, 2023.
The production staff includes Katsuya Kikuchi (Sengoku Night Blood, The Royal Tutor) as director, Michiko Yokote (Call of the Night) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, and Suzuna Okuyama (The Royal Tutor) as character designer. NAZ is handling the animation production for the series.
Meanwhile, the main voice cast includes Daisuke Hirose as Taichirou Arima/Ichi, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Asuma Arima/AAAAA, Akio Ootsuka as Kojirou Arima/Shirou Akabane, and Aya Endou as Sayaka Arima/May.
Additional cast members include Aoi Yukki as Pico, Ryouhei Kimura as Leon, Hiroki Nanami as Sasumata, Kenjirou Tsuda as Shigatera, Rie Takahashi as Hana Kamuro, and Inori Minase as Aya Arima.
The original manga series by Uru Okabe was serialized in Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday and MangaONE from December 28, 2015 to January 8, 2017. A total of five tankoubon volumes were released in total. A prequel manga titled Good Night World End was released on August 1, 2023.

Netflix describes the synopsis of Good Night World as:
A shut-in older brother. A high-achieving younger brother. A father who is not respected by his own children.A mother who neglects her own household. This is a broken family, and none of its members know that they are all players in an online game.
