The upcoming Dog Signal anime adaptation will begin airing in Japan on October 22, a new update has revealed.

The anime is based on the KADOKAWA-published Dog Signal manga by Saya Miyauchi, which began serialization on Comic Bridge in 2018 and has nine tankoubon volumes as of February 2023. The story follows Miyu Samura, an aspiring dog trainer who has a lively dog suddenly foisted upon him by his ex-girlfriend. Miyu’s encounter with the impressive dog trainer Shinichiro Niwa leads to Miyu deciding to become the latter’s apprentice.

Kazuhiro Furuhashi (Spy x FamilyDororo) is directing the anime. The cast includes Kenshou Ono as Miyu, Kenichi Suzumura as Shinichiro Niwa, Yuuko Kaida as Ritsuka Izumi, and KENN as Suzunosuke Kubo.
