The action fantasy anime Ragna Crimson has received a two-minute pre-broadcast trailer previewing its action, characters, and the newly announced ending song “Kakurin” by Watashi Kobayashi.
It was also announced that the TV anime will run for two cours with 24 episodes.
Ragna Crimson is set to begin broadcasting in Japan on September 30 (effectively October 1 at 1 AM JST) with a one-hour premiere. The anime is based on the Square Enix-published dark fantasy manga by Daiki Kobayashi, which began serialization in Square Enix’s Monthly Gangan Joker in 2017 and has 12 tankoubon volumes as of June 2023. Penguin Random House describes the story as:
Dragon hunters: warriors armed with special silver weapons who kill their prey for bounty. Lowest among their ranks is Ragna, who forms an improbable partnership with the young genius Leonica, a master dragon slayer with more kills to her name than almost any other. All Ragna wants is to stay by Leonica’s side, but his dream is shattered by an attack from the deadliest dragon imaginable…
The anime is produced by SILVER LINK and has the following main staff:
