The production team for the TSUKIUTA anime film RABBITS KINGDOM THE MOVIE announced that its release has been rescheduled to early Summer 2024. The film was originally set to premiere in December 2023.
A new key visual and PV trailer were also released.
The production staff for the film includes Ryuuichirou Henmi as director and screenwriter, Jiku (TSUKIUTA. THE ANIMATION) as original character designer, Taeko Satou (ultra Maniac) as chief animation director, and Noriko Nishinomiya as animation producer. Fujiwara is credited with the original work and planning for the film. Studio SIGN is handling the animation production.

RABBITS KINGDOM THE MOVIE commemorates the 10th anniversary of the overall TSUKIUTA franchise. It adapts the fifth stage production, which tells an alternate “what-if” story that takes place in a faraway country. It is part of the larger Tsukino Talent Production franchise.
The TSUKIUTA. THE ANIMATION TV anime series is a music and original drama CD series about anthropomorphized months. The series centers around the Tokyo idol unit Six Gravity (consisting of characters representing December to May) and the sibling rival unit Procellarum (composed of male idols born in Western Japan and representing June to November).
The first 13-episode anime season premiered in Japan on July 6, 2016 and concluded on September 28, 2016. Another 13-episode second season premiered on October 7, 2020 to December 30, 2020 after being delayed in 2019. Funimation streamed both seasons as it aired in Japan.

Another spinoff series of the TSUKIPRO titled VAZZROCK THE ANIMATION premiered on October 4, 2022. Crunchyroll is currently streaming the 13-episode anime series.
