The production team for the mixed-media B-Project series announced that the previously announced third season Netsuretsu*Love Call will premiere on October 2, 2023. A new key visual featuring the main cast has also been released.
Asahi Production is taking over animation production duties from A-1 Pictures and BN Pictures, who worked on seasons one and two. The first 12-episode season of B-Project aired from July 3, 2016 to September 25, 2016. The 12-episode second season was subsequently broadcasted from January 11, 2019 to March 29, 2019.

The B-Project virtual idol franchise was created by MAGES and Chiyomaru Shikura and was first announced on Twitter on August 9, 2015. The series’ first production presentation and song previews were released on September 4, 2015 on Nico Nico live.
In addition to the anime the mixed-media project also inspired numerous manga adaptations, a 2017 mobile rhythm game, a 2021 console game, a stage play, a web-radio show, multiple music album CDS, and several related merchandise.
Crunchyroll streamed the first two seasons of B-Project as they aired in Japan. It describes season two as:
