A second trailer and a new visual have been released for the upcoming Formula 4-themed original anime Overtake!, which premieres in Japan on October 1. The former includes a preview of the opening song “Tailwind” by NIJISANJI VTuber Kanae.
Overtake! is the 10th anniversary project of animation production company Troyca. The story follows the Komaki Motors-affiliated racer Haruka Asahina (Anan Furuya) and the freelance photographer Koya Madoka (Katsuyuki Konishi). Other cast/characters include:
• Tasuku Hatanaka as Kotaro Komaki (Mechanic and son of Komaki Motors founder)
• Kengo Kawanishi as Satsuki Harunaga (Belsorriso first driver)
• Taku Yashiro as Toshiki Tokumaru (Belsorriso second driver)
• Reina Ueda as Arisu Mitsuzawa (Belsorriso race queen)
Ei Aoki (ID:INVADED, Re: CREATORS) is directing the anime with Ayumi Sekine (Idolish7) as series composer and Masako Matsumoto (Aldnoah Zero) as character designer. Also part of the staff are:
