Migi & Dali Premieres October 2, Adds 7 More Characters & Voice Cast Members featured image

The production team for the Migi & Dali TV anime series announced that the show will begin broadcasting on October 2, 2023. 

Additionally, they also revealed seven more main voice cast members joining the anime. They include Kotono Mitsuishi as Youko, Takashi Matsuyama as Osamu, Sumire Morohoshi as Metry, Kimiko Saitou as Micchan, Romi Park as Reiko, Tokuyoshi Kawashima as Akira, and Akira Sekine as Karen. 

Mankyuu (The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Theater Climax Season director and scriptwriter) is directing the series and serving as its screenwriter. Ayumi Nishihata (Otherside Picnic) is serving as character designer, while Hiroko Sebu (I Want to Eat Your Pancreas) is the music composer. GEEKTOYS is in charge of the animation production, with CompTown providing production assistance and FRONTIER ENGINE producing the overall show.

The original manga was launched by Nami Sano (Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto) in Enterbrain’s Harta magazine from July 15, 2017 to November 15, 2021. It was published under the Harta Comix label. Seven tankoubon volumes were released in total. Sano passed away at the age of 36, while dealing with cancer. 

Migi and Dali takes place in an American suburb-styled town called Origon Village in Kita Ward during the early 1990s. It follows a newly adopted boy named Hitori, who secretly has a twin brother. As they infiltrate their new household, the twins plan their ultimate goal of avenging their mother.
