The official website for the Record of Ragnarok II anime series has released a fourth key visual for its second part, with a TV broadcast set for Japan on October 20, 2023. The website also confirmed that Kaito Ishikawa will be voicing the role of Qin Shi Huang.
All episodes of the first two seasons are currently streaming on Netflix, with part two (containing episodes 11-15), debuting on July 12, 2023. The first season premiered in 2021, while the first part of Record of Ragnarok II was released on January 26, 2023.
Meanwhile, the main voice cast features Miyuki Sawashiro as Brunhilde, Tomoyo Kurosawa as Göll, Tomokazu Sugita as Jack the Ripper, Katsuyuki Konishi as Hercules, Subaru Kimura as Raiden Tameemon, Yuuichi Nakamura as Shaka, and Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Shiva. Other cast members include Tetsu Inada as Hajun, Ryoutarou Okiayu as Hades, Ayumu Murase as Zerofuku, and Daisuke Namikawa as Beelzebub.
The production staff for Record of Ragnarok II includes Masao Ookubo as director, with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu as series screenwriter, Masaki Satou as character designer, and Yuka Yamada (Slow Loop series screenwriter) as co-series screenwriter. Yumeta Company and Graphinica are in charge of the animation production.
The anime is based on the manga written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui, with artwork handled by Ajichika. It was first serialized in Coamix’s Monthly Comic Zenon magazine on November 25, 2017 under the Zenon Comics label. Nineteen tankoubon volumes have been released as of July 2023. The manga series is also available in English digitally via the Mangamo app.
