The official Weekly Shonen Jump YouTube channel has released a new animated music video for Cö shu Nie’s “give it back,” paired with the manga visuals of Jujutsu Kaisen. The song was used as the second ending theme for the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen

The music video is part of Weekly Shonen Jump’s “Jump MV” series, which takes stories from the magazine and creates special music videos from the manga panels. The video for Jujutsu Kaisen follows Satoru Gojo’s story throughout the series.

Previous Jump MVs have been made for Naruto’s “Silhouette” by KANA-BOON, Dr. STONE’s “three primary colors” by PELICAN FANCLUB, Bleach’s “*Asterisk” by Orange Range, and many more series.

The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen first aired on July 6, 2023, starting with the first five episodes of the “Hidden Inventory / Premature Death” arc. It will return to broadcast on August 31, 2023 with the “Shibuya Incident” story arc. Both the first and second seasons are currently streaming on Crunchyroll. MAPPA is the animation production company for the series.

Crunchyroll describes the synopsis of season two as:

The past comes to light when second-year students Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto are tasked with escorting young Riko Amanai to Master Tengen. But when a non-sorcerer user tries to kill them, their mission to protect the Star Plasma Vessel threatens to turn them into bitter enemies and cement their destinies—one as the world’s strongest sorcerer, and the other its most twisted curse user!
