Lycoris Recoil‘s Chika Anzai is voicing the protagonist of the upcoming Shumatsu Train Doko he Iku? original anime, it has been announced.
Her character, Shizuru Chikura, is described as an impulsive but reliable leader who is skilled in jujutsu. Shizuru’s character profile also provides some details about Shumatsu Train Doko he Iku?‘s plot, with the first line mentioning a search via train for her best friend who has suddenly gone missing.
The other main cast members of the show , as well as other new info, will be revealed on July 30 at 4 PM JST during a special program.
Shumatsu Train Doko he Iku? was announced last October (on the same date as Japan’s Railway Day) with a visual of Shizuru, a dog, and three other characters. The visual also featured a strange phenomenon in the sky. Tsutomu Mizushima (Girls und Panzer, Shirobako, Mayoiga) is directing the show.
