A 2024 premiere date and a visual have been revealed for the third season of Laid-Back Camp. It was also announced that the new season of the camping-themed slice-of-life show will feature a new animation production studio and staff.

Laid-Back Camp Season 3 will be produced by Eight Bit instead of C-Station, with Shin Tosaka (Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars) as director instead of Yoshiaki Kyougoku. Other new staff include Masafumi Sugiura (Uma Musume: Pretty Derby co-series composer) as series composer and Naofumi Hashimoto (Ryman’s Club sub-character designer) as character designer. Akiyuki Tateyama is returning as music composer.

The cast is remaining the same, with Yumiri Hanamori as Nadeshiko Kagamihara, Nao Touyama as Rin Shima, Sayuri Hara as Chiaki, Aki Toyosaki as Aoi Inuyama, and Rie Takahashi as Ena Saito.

The first season of Laid-Back Camp aired in 2018. A spin-off called Room Camp and a second season followed in 2020 and 2021, respectively. An anime movie featuring the characters as adults premiered in Japan in July 2022.

The anime is based on the Houbunsha-published manga by Afro, which began in 2015 and has 14 tankoubon volumes as of November 2022. It was first serialized in Manga Time Kirara Forward but is currently running in the COMIC FUZ app, and is published under the Manga Time KR Comics label.
